I remember the 80s, when we were kids, every year we loved going to the circus and doing the rides, eating candy apples and cotton candy and feeling giddy and maybe winning a stuffed animal.
Then as a teenager going to the circus was a whole new experience girls girls girls Rock ‘n’ Roll metal a bit of hash and two three beers and the night was beautiful There was always Crazy going on Ozzy playing in one of the booths. We understood a little more about what goes on behind the scenes that we didn’t really notice as kids. The people at these booths trying to lure us to their booth to win a teddy bear for the girl looked like ex-dealers or ex-prisoners or just ripped guys with a few missing teeth. It was a night explosion that at the same time reminded us of the end of summer and the start of the school year.
So last night I went to the fair to notice that the only thing that has changed is the year. Bizarrely the Netflix series, “Stranger Things” brought back the 80s style to the teens. It was a nice nostalgic throwback to the past.
